ADLER'S APPETITE Split With JIZZY PEARL, Announce Replacement
ADLER'S APPETITE (formerly SUKI JONES), the new band formed by ex-GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler, have replaced RATT/ex-LOVE/HATE singer Jizzy Pearl with Sean Crosby from the AC/DC tribute act BACK IN BLACK. "Steven claims that this guy is an 'amazing, strong screamer!' " according to a posting on The Official Steven Adler Fan Site. "The band just wants to get back on the road as soon as possible. Overseas dates are being finalized, but the band hopes to be playing here in the US again very, very soon!" ADLER'S APPETITE is rounded out by ex-SLASH'S SNAKEPIT guitarist Keri Kelli, FASTER PUSSYCAT guitarist Brent Muscat, and ex-VINCE NEIL/RATT bassist Robbie Crane.

In other news, Adler has just returned from playing several dates on the Metal Sludge Tour, also featuring FASTER PUSSYCAT, ENUFF Z'NUFF and PRETTY BOY FLOYD. "[Steven] told me that the first show in Dallas with the Metal Sludge Tour was just a free-for-all," writes the webmaster of The Official Steven Adler Fan Site. "Nothing was organized really. The next night in Houston was pretty much the same. He was on stage and there was no singer. Being resourceful, Brent Muscat found a kid from the audience to give it a try. The bus they were traveling in experienced some mechanical failure. Steven swears that it was the exact same bus GUNS N' ROSES used on their very first tour. The setback did little to deter high spirits. Steven said that all the guys in the bands were so great, real 'hardened road dogs.' The highlight of his stint came when he performed last night at the POISON/VINCE NEIL gig. 'Come Together' was played with Chip Z'Nuff singing. FASTER PUSSYCAT's drummer lent his vocal talents to the AC/DC classic 'Sin City', and the rousing final number came when PRETTY BOY FLOYD's singer Steve brought down the house with 'Knockin' on Heavens' Door'. All the while, Brent Muscat played along wearing a giant KFC bucket on his head! Steven said it was great to see Scotti and Snake from SKID ROW again. He had such a great time and was bummed that he had to leave!"
