Slash's Snakepit album update
The basic tracks are completed; that means the bass and drums are done. Slash is back at his home studio right now working on the guitar parts with Rod working on the vocals. This should take about a month. Twelve tracks are being worked on, but the number on the finished album could change. The band has about 30 songs in hand, so choosing the 12 or so is always tough. "Speed Parade", which is on the Viper pinball machine, made it to the album. So did "Landslide". "Break You" is there with a new title. If "Dry Jack" was a favorite, you'll have to live without an album version. There are no covers. Slash says that all of those that didn't make the cut will likely turn up here and there at the shows.
