That said, if you see a guy in a home white Florida Gators #15 Tim Tebow jersey...that's your ol' pal, DX.  I have to believe I will be the only one in the building in such attire.

I will def keep an eye out. fairly certain you will be the only one wearing that. what's funny is that my one buddy going to the show frequently wears Gators gear. he actually had a jersey on at the 2002 riot (forget what player) and I think he even wore one to the 2011 Camden show. not sure if he has a Tebow jersey though.

do you know if the concourse has A/C for the club box seats? I know it is a much nicer concourse, but can't remember if it is enclosed. I'm getting tix for my wife and sister and that could be a deciding factor.

I'm 10 days away.  And I would say very similar things (since the birth of my kids did, in fact, involve such) but add "...since I saw them at Giants Stadium and Foxboro Stadium in '92".

Opening the lots early, way early.  And its going to be 100 degrees.

I expect an only ever so slightly better behaved Eagles crowd.  Only missing factor will be the lack of fighting other people in opposing jerseys.

Even so, don't wear a Nirvana shirt tonight, folks.  Just in case.

just packed my coolers and loaded them in the car. Got the Mrs a ticket in the pit last night on stub hub ($190) and we are picking up 7 people in our mini-van.    not the most rock n roll way to do it, but it is convenient. so if you see a big group of people tailgating at a mini-van, stop by for a beer and say hello. i'll be wearing the old school gnr tshirt and a red bandana.

gnr has an interesting history with Philly:
- Axl harassed by cops
- epic concerts (Axl stopping in the middle of WTTJ to yell at a fan and then starting the song over!)
- great crowds  
- Duff mentions philly in his book and getting lost looking for drugs in a bad neighborhood
- the riot
- the EF show (2,000 people!!!) with an explanation and apology for the cancellation

anyway, it's always interesting. and I've wanted this for years. can't freakin believe it's happening. it's how I'd probably feel if the eagles won the SB!
