In some ways Kanye is a cultural phenomenon. He did give us the term Kanye moment. That is when you express your extreme displeasure when your pick for an award does not win. I had my own personal Kanye moment when Kate Hudson did not win the Academy Award for her totally awesome performance in Almost Famous. I did throw a scrunchie at my TV.

Axl: I met Kanye at the Versace awards. He was very gracious. I love Gold Digger and told him so. I'm a big fan of his stage performance as he seems to go for it physically which I relate more to. B4 r release I sent him a msg that any nonsense from the media had nothing to do with us and wished him the best. I'm humbled we've done as well as we have considering.

His kind of music ain't really my bag, and I don't really care one way or the other what Axl or anyone else thinks of him. I don't hate him or wish him ill, he'd as good as not exist for all he impacts on my life.
Still, you've got a guy that the whole media considers an egomaniac, a douchebag, self-indulgent and generally pretty unlikable... you'd think Guns N' Roses fans of all people would be less bothered by that than some seem to be.
