LOL yes I learned that one the hard way - first concert in NYC I ever drove to, I had to leave halfway through the set to go get my stupid car.  I was SO pissed.

@pilferk, I don't think you can pre-purchase.  If you're in the city before 5, I think you should be ok finding space.

@pilferk, I don't think you can pre-purchase.  If you're in the city before 5, I think you should be ok finding space.

A few times I have parked uptown in residential neighborhoods and used the subway but I don't advise this if you are not familiar with the system.  It isn't the easiest to navigate!

We won't be in the city before 5...probably leaving CT around 5.  Stop somewhere for dinner on the way.  Be in the city around 8:30-ish?  Maybe 9?

For an 11 PM show...I'd guess they'll open the venue around 10?  I know the last show I went to, they opened about an hour before.

Somehow, you will end up right in front of me because I am 5 ft 2 and that is always my luck.  I don't normally do GA but this is a special occasion!   I was pressed against the front of the stage for the 2 Vegas shows in 2006 so I think I will be ok off to the side somewhere for this one.  I was in a bad car accident about a year ago and getting jostled and pushed just isn't my thing anymore or I will wind up in my 37632732th round of PT and my doc will be very unhappy with me! hihi

My brother & I will also be coming in from CT for the Roseland show.  I was able to get through via the pre-sale, it's probably the luckiest day of my life!  February 10th can't come fast enough!!

If anyone has ever used the Hotel Tonight app on their iphone, it works wonders for NYC....you can't book a room till the day of, but usually in the winter you can get a room on it for about 80-140 bucks a night which for NYC is good.  Also you get a 25 dollar credit the first time you use it and also another 25 for anyone you recommend.  Through the winter the rates are super cheap and you usually can get a really nice hotel for sometimes like 1/4 of the real price.  I highly recommend it though.

so basically the VIP thing basically just gives you early entry and possible seat by the stage if the venue has them? this isnt like that vip for the la and vegas shows that had a meet and greet correct?

Whats the difference between livenation vip and gnr.com ones???
I had no idea they were different, fuck which one to buy???
And i think there is a VIP through HOB also in chicago i think,  ugh this shit is confusing me
