They took it off the Miami rock station page....?
Yes, they did.  I'm guessing it was premature and that's why.

Ali
I think that's probably the case.  GNR's tweet yesterday about a trick or a treat, this would be the "trick" portion of the show.  Hopefully we get the "treat" soon, with a full slate of dates to follow.

Damon is replacing Richard Fortus who is leaving Lizzy to go back to GnR because of the upcoming US dates soon to be officially announced.

I really expected to look at almost all GNR forums and see a bunch of people claiming the sky is falling because this was taken off the radio stations web site. I haven't checked mygnr yet, but I was just on gnrevolution and I'm glad to see the positivity!

I'm willing to bet that you're all correct and that an announcement will come from the band first and then the station will throw that contest back up.

I just wanted to add that I am here as a fan, not as someone with any knowledge.

I was merely being logical with the Trick or Treat thing.  peace

Regarding the "removal of the GN'R concert info"

If you enter your e-mail adress on that page you'll be presented with these questions:

- What time of day did you hear the Live Lick from Guns and Roses?

- Which day did you hear the Live Lick from Guns and Roses?

Also, on the main contest page it says that this is a GN'R contest:

Live Licks All Labor Day Weekend
Enter the day and time you hear Live Gun's N' Roses song for a chance to win tickets to their concert!

Just listened to the first 40 minutes or so of Eddie Trunk's Sirius/XM show, I'm taping the rest to listen to tomorrow. Anyway, he mentioned the GNR US tour rumors and said that he's heard from credible sources that they're working on scheduling shows. He again brought up the midwest (must be where his contact has connections) and he mentioned Oklahoma specifically as a probable date on the tour. He did say that nothing is official, but he cited Richard leaving Thin Lizzy to concentrate on Guns. So all signs are pointing in a positive direction.

On an unrelated note, Sebastian Bach is calling into the show around 9 to talk about his new album and the destruction of his home due to the Hurricane.

I put the following to Jim Koplik (of Live Nation):

Do you know of anything being scheduled or actually confirmed to happen (in terms of a US GN?R tour)?

I think maybe you could provide a less cautious response given a radio station has gone as far as to announce details regarding a particular date.

To which he responded:

Quote
This tour has not been confirmed. There are dates held and if it happens, I am pretty sure you'll see an indoor Comcast show. But I never bet on Axl confirming his plans.

Comcast Theater would be AWESOME!  I've never actually been to an INDOOR show there.  Nice and close to home, though tickets might be pricey seeing as it's a smaller venue.

I checked yesterday with the arena here in Oklahoma City and they did not have anything booked yet.

But that post just made me do jumping jacks around my office Grin ok
