Looks like they've been on there for awhile.  I've held out on joining facebook so far, but I'm sure I'll eventually get sucked in.  I think even my mom got on there at one point, not sure if she's still there though.  I can't see her writing on people's walls.  She has trouble working an answering machine.

Myspace seems to be slowly dying huh?  I got on there a few years back and it was all the buzz, now it seems like nobody uses it anymore.  Everyone has switched over to facebook.  Personally I don't see the big difference.  They're virtually the same exact thing, unless I'm missing something.

Looks intersting but realisticly the reasons people (or bands) that are  famous make their myspaces and facebooks is to

 1. Get attention which honestly GNR should not need to do if people only cared about the music like back in the day ; )

 2. To keep their fans updated to everything they do and we all know when we get updates sadly



But still I might join facebook becouse of this I already have a myspace so why not...

Aaaaah.. the good old days! Back when we didn't have internet. Back when MTV and big labels decieded what you ought to was "cool". Back when if you wanted to take music with you outdoors, it was limited to a few cassettes for you Walkman...

Nowadays we have every band in the world accesible at the click of a button! And we litteraly carry with us thousands of songs in our back-pocket.

People still care alot about music! Difference is we care about much MORE music!

I been on facebook for a while, much better than mywasteofspace.  That site seems to be aimed more at teens where as facebook isnt.

I became a "fan" on their facebook page this morning.

Did anyone else see that it has listed a potential show on 10-24 in NY?  Click on the music tab and it is there.
