finale aired yesterday in sweden, brilliant show

i really recognized jacob too, the only thing i could think of what that i had seen him in a wife beater role hihi

I guess the "leader" of the group that asks about "what lies in the shadow of the statue" is sayids ex..?

the show is too good hihi

Haha, she has become quite an important character so it's important to make the distinction. Interesting that Ilana and Jacob seem to have a relationship that goes back sometime, and Richard knows nothing about it.

does the sixth season start tonight in the states? start a new thread maybe? I'm gonna download these so can keep in pace with u guys, don't even know if there are any plans to broadcast the season in Sweden yet

yeah episode 3 sucked. but, well...episodes like this must exists to introduce situations and interactions between the characters.
I'm sure the next one wil be...punchy.

I just hope these new "others" will quickly disappear...

i didnt think it sucked. but when you have episode 1 as a comparison, episode 2 couldnt look good Wink

"Mac" from Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia? What next, Danny DeVito? Jerry Seinfeld maybe as the black smoke?

its just been milked to death...some guy has come  up with some bullshit script which allowed them to extend it past the third season. Everybody knows it was only ment to be 2 or 3 seasons long but because of the initial success they decided to milk it and write another 3 seasons which have had ridiculous plots!!

i mean the new one...is a bunch of hippies in a temple with magical water!

They've actually been saying from the beginning that it's always been a set story arc that's set over just over 100 episodes. Which is exactly what we're getting.
The reason for setting the end date for the show in stone was entirely to not do what you suggested they've done. This is the story they always intended, whether you like it or not is the only thing up for debate.
I haven't actually seen any of the episodes in the new season yet (I don't have the channel it's shown on, so I have to wait for the DVD release), but I've been hooked by every single twist and turn throughout the first five seasons, even when a bunch of other people were bitching and moaning about it, so I'm hoping the same will be the case for season six.

Actually, Lindeloff and Cuse have been very clear that they concieved the story to be an approximately 100 episode "arc" with a specific begining, middle, and end.  They went "off rails" during season 4 (I think that was the one) because of the writers strike, but not by much.
