I think this is my favorite song on the album. Anyone think this kind of has an Alice In Chains feel?

I think I just died and went to heaven. I'm floored.

I was intending to listen once all the way through, but I had to stop here to pick myself up off the floor.

I think it has a Sabbath feel to it and harsher lyrics than I've ever heard from Mr Rose.

Baz sings the high part of the chorus. Lisen closely. Axl is doing the lower, Baz is doing the high.

solid ass track.  Woke up the last two days with the song stuck in my head, so that means it has that sticky effect...

not a music afficiodado, so I cant articulate my thoughts all that well.  All I can say is "Best Album Ever" (In Simpsons Comic Book guy voice...)

I think it's actually about Axl and Slash. The lyrical trade-offs sound like a conversation between the two of them a long time ago.

Got the album, today, and having heard all the demos, 'Sorry' was the song I was looking forward to sitting down with the most. And all I can say, is WOW! Listened to it several times now, this song is fucking awesome.

As for Baz's "doom metal" quote, I can see where he was coming from, but I wonder if a previous mix was heavier, which would make sense. Very Pink Floyd feel throughout, almost like Pink Floyd working out a metal song with Buckethead playing guitar. Axl's vocals are amazing, and you can just feel the sarcasm seeping through the track. I can hear the whistling in the spot described earlier (subtle but very cool), can't really hear Baz but there is clearly a double-tracked vocal during the chorus, it could be several Axl's singing (he likes to do that), but one of the voices is most likely Sebastian.

I always hated the "It's about Slash" discussion for every new leak, lol, but I do think this one's about Slash. Fits right in with Axl's comments about how "Slash lies, that's what he does", and for some reason I got the sense he's referring to Slash's book, although it's more likely the song was written prior.

As for the "Mexican Vampire" line, it is a bit jarring at first, but I love it. I'd say this post pretty much sums up what I was going to say about it's origin:
