I went there yesterday and asked a girl if she could look it up in the system.  She had no idea what I was talking about, and could not find it.  I guess I'll go up today at lunch and preorder if I can.

im almost positive bestbuy has foriegn affiliates and stores under a different name, but i dont recall what they are.

also, anyone here a member on wikipedia? the info is a little out dated now.

alright. well if there ends up being no store pick up with the vinly then ill just pre-order those online and buy the cd at best buy the day of release

The gentleman I just talked to while placing my order said that In Store Pick Up will become an option as the release draws near. I double checked to make sure I could change my pre-existing order and he confirmed yes.

If you look at most of their pre-orders, that is, in fact, the case.

But "in store pickup" is not an option on CD, right now.  You also can't (at least you couldn't as of yesterday) preorder CD in store. 

USUALLY once you can pre-order it in store, the "in store pickup" option is available shortly there after on-line.  At least, that's how it's worked with games and movies in the past...I've never preordered a CD before, but I'm guessing the system will work the same way.

Assuming Best Buy has exclusive variations of the album, I'm sure somebody here can help you out once the album is out.

But if it's just the same album you can get in Holland, then just get them from your local store. Smiley

nah, I'd rather download it for free.. Wink kidding, I'll ask someone here from the US if it'll be an exclusive... or better, PM me if you'd like to do so by then.. Smiley

anyway, I'll check my local music store, they usually sell me cd's as soon as they got it in, and don't wait 'till the date they'll have to sell it from...

Or maybe they jumped the gun and got a call from the GN'R camp? Remember, Mysteron said there won't be an announcement until at least Thursday, so maybe they didn't want this out there on Best Buy's site yet?
