Just curious, what made you pick the Use Your Illusion 1 color scheme instead of 2?

Back in '95 the blue and purple ink weren't as strong as they are now; however I also felt getting UYI I was more fitting as it was the first album in the set and I always loved the colors of red and yellow together in this piece.

I'd imagine that, as he's already done, retouching it at a later date would be less problematic on the lighter colours. Some tattoo's done 20-30 years ago end up being a complete mess, if you're gonna have any of the UYI artwork done I'd suggest the yellow and red combo too as its so much easier to keep fresh.

i have no clue why he put it up sideways! hopefully it will be finished soon. we juoke & call it the chinese democracy tattoo because its taking soo long to finish. & no, we didnt add slash in it, as more gets done it will look less & less like random lines!

中国= china ( cool fact : 中= middle    国 = earth      中国 = middle earth ..how you say China in mandarin )   


edit : my friend just showed me teh proper way to spell Chinese Democracy

edit : the symbol on your middle finger left hand is traditional chinese... they only write that way in taiwan and hong kong now

we started some of the color on the monster this week, when you really look at the pic, you see all the colors that are layed down over each other, which makes getting the tattoo challenging to say the least. but like i said, we can see a little light at the end of the tunnel. hope to give another update video soon! & thank you guys for the kind words!
