If they do a couple of shows as a tribute to him.. that would be awesome... but continuing on as ACDC with really only Angus left... seems like a stretch.

Dave Evans would be a very good choise as permanent replacement for Brian after the Rock Or Bust Tour.

Dave Evans would be interesting to say the least.
"Can I Sit Next to You Girl?" is such a strange song for the band.

I'm hoping Axl stays as singer for a little longer until a permanent replacement (if any) is found.

The Dave Evans from today is way different. Just listen to his solo albums they are both damn good.

AC/DC's Brian Johnson Gives Positive Update on Hearing Loss
"I was ... able to hear music again like I haven't heard for several years now," singer says of new in-ear technology
By Daniel Kreps June 3, 2016
AC/DC singer Brian Johnson has issued an optimistic statement on the hearing issues that threatened to end his career in rock.
AC/DC singer Brian Johnson, whose hearing issues forced him to leave during the band's Rock or Bust tour, has issued a statement on his treatment. Johnson met with Stephen Ambrose, an in-ear technology specialist, and is hopeful that his work will improve his hearing loss.
"It works," Johnson said of Ambrose's ADEL hearing technology in an authorized statement. "It just totally works and you can't argue with that. I was really moved and amazed to be able to hear music again like I haven't heard for several years now. I can't wait for it to be miniaturized so I can use it in every situation from normal communication, going out to noisy restaurants, [and] performing live music onstage."
After Johnson revealed that hearing issues threatened to leave him with "total hearing loss," Ambrose reached out to Johnson via YouTube. Ambrose, the creator of the wireless in-ear monitor first popularized in the Seventies, discovered that his invention could cause permanent damage to hearing. As a means to improve his product, Ambrose worked with scientists on an improved in-ear monitor that acted like a second, synthetic eardrum that "absorbs only the harmful sound pressures."
"Brian, I introduced Guns N' Roses to in-ear monitors in 1990 and I'm a big fan of Axl Rose's voice, but let's be clear: I'm with Roger Daltrey on this, I really can't imagine anyone but you singing 'Back in Black,'" Ambrose said in the video.
Johnson's latest statement is decidedly more optimistic than he was just a month earlier in a Sirius XM interview, when the singer said his touring days were over: "I had so many good times with the boys," Johnson said. "And I've had such a lucky and great life. And I'm just thankful really that I came out of it in one piece. Now I guess I could rest me socks off."

Hopefully that means he can return to touring. Axl has been great but i think the AC/DC fans would love to get Brian back if possible.

But what about Angus and the rest of the band? Axl's presence seems to have energized them.

http://www.guitarworld.com/artist-news/acdcs-cliff-williams-retire-after-current-tour/29419
CLIFF WILLIAMS will retire after current AC/DC tour; notes that lineup changes brought it on.
Cliff Williams has played bass in AC/DC since 1977. By the time the group?s current tour wraps up in September, he?ll have logged nearly 40 years with the Australian rockers.
Apparently 40 years is long enough. Williams says his future plans don?t include continuing with AC/DC.
It?s been what I?ve known for the past 40 years,? Williams says. ?But after this tour I?m backing off of touring and recording.?
His decision was influenced by changes within AC/DC that have been beyond the group?s control. Founding guitarist Malcolm Young was forced to leave the band in 2014 due to dementia. Last March, longtime singer Brian Johnson announced he was suffering from severe hearing damage and could no longer perform. His position was quickly filled by Guns N? Roses singer Axl Rose, who signed on to fulfill the group?s tour obligations.
Between the two losses, longtime drummer Phil Rudd fell out with the band and became enmeshed in legal troubles. He was replaced by Chris Slade, who drummed for the band from 1989 to 1994.
?Losing Malcolm, the thing with Phil and now with Brian, it?s a changed animal,? Williams says of the band. As for his decision, ?I feel in my gut it?s the right thing.?
Williams says he looks back on his time with the group with happiness. ?When you start out, you kind of hope for success,? he says. ?That?s what you are working for. But you never really know. It?s been surreal, really.?
In the recently released video from AC/DC below, Williams reflects on his role in the band, saying, ?I don?t know what else I would wanna do. I love the music and I love playing in the band and I?m all filled up.?

I would like to see Tony Franklin as the new bassist. He was a bandmate of Chris Slade in The Firm.
