that was an old site to help promote Live Era.  It's probably just laying around and no one has deleted it yet, it's was there back in like '99 i think it was the first layout of GnRONLINE.com  As for the "no News" thing, I don't know, maybe they are gonna put something up soon. Maybe a RIR 4 concert date?  But don't get too excited though, gnronline.com sucks worst than worstsiteever.com   peace peace peace

That html file has been there for a very very very long time.  It's further evidence that the site is not very well maintained.

Dizzy's site is down because, as lars put it on the message boards (which are still up), their host company tried to screw with them.  I don't know any more details, really, but I can assure you it has nothing to do with the gnronline "update".

www.gnronline.com has no news on it.

Does that mean there is something wrong with all Interscope artists websites?? I remember last time all the news for all artists was down.

Or maybe they're going to update the damn site, who knows.

Edit - Or maybe we aren't supposed to "Stay Tuned" for Chinese Democracy anymore since the Greatest Hits album means it's not coming.  Tongue

FYI, this happened midnight March 10th (I believe) and we already discussed it in another topic.

To summarize, the update most likely means nothing and just means the news item "expired" as it was over a year old.

It's down again.... maybe they'll have an "official" statement on the Greatest Hits. Or shit, maybe they'll have some information on Chinese Democracy (god forbid...LOL!). When the day happens that there's official information on Chinese Democracy I think I'll have a heartattack. I shit you not, at this stage in the game, I'm really concerned that I might die before it comes out. And that would suck my ass!
