Wow, these pics are awesome! I stayed up all night to watch the fight at MSG, cause I already expected Axl to be there - and yeah, he WAS! And now these wonderful pictures... that just made my day! It's good to see Axl's having a good time. New York really seems to influence him in a positive way and I hope we'll get more news of that kind in future as well!!

show some respect to Beta.

Is it really Beta? ?Just curious.

Great to see Axl doing some charity and getting his face out there a bit more.  You know the saying "any publicity is good publicity"?  Well good publicity can only be better!

usually i'm jealous from people meeting axl, but the fucker got to meet ali!

pretty nice story all told. the title of the article looks like a lyric that i cant place (and maybe a beatles tune as someone mentioned), which may give an inkling into what he sang.

and he's still doing that supid handshake!

Thank you for the pics Real time visionary!! ok

I don?t think Axl needs to be said how nice he is for doing this kind of stuff. He?s always done it, what happens is that most of the time it isn?t made public. I think he does this stuff from the heart and not to get publicity.

Anyways,glad he did it. love

Wow, this is great news to wake up to.  As in the thread for stem cell research, I'm pretty passionate about Parkinson's because my step-father suffered from it for many years.  Axl is the man, simple as that...awesome to see him with Ali too.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Axl played with the FabFaux? You can see the bands name on the drums on this pic:

Here is their myspace. Seems like a beatles tribute band?  Cheesy

Must have been cool!

Yes, that's her.

Great pics, thanks!! I'd like to know what he sang as well. Maybe "Come Together"? That's a great tune by The Beatles.

Btw, I love that pic:

And those with Michael J. Fox and Muhammad Ali are awesome too. Michael J. Fox is such a great actor. Back To The Future was so awesome back in the day, I think the first two are still good even for today.

He still got it, no doubt. Micheal J. Fox's guest-appearances in Scrubs were godlike.  ok

i'm thinking back in the USSR is a likely candidate, but come together would work too.

Looks like Fab Faux have performed Abbey Road for the same charity in the past, so could have been a song from that album.

More likely Back In The USSR. ?You realise in the photos of his performance, he's straining like when his voice is really going for it? ?Come Together doesn't require that amount of effort. ?But when he does Back In The USSR, it does.
