The show should always be great though - they can whip up an episode in a week.  with all thats going on in the world right now they should be having a field day.

i have a feeling this episode is going to be full of  Smiley jokes and then they are going to go for one big  rofl at the end.

Yeah...with all that's going on right now, I'm surprised they did the AIDS show and will be doing the Britney show.  Not to pre-judge, but Britney?  Then again, Randy Marsh's poop made for a great episode, so who knows?

Personally, I think this show could REALLY use a return of Chef...Isaac come back!

this new one was alright. still dissapointing. i swear, the last really good south park was the "we are lezbos" one from last season. the imaginationland series had its moments but was just okay overall. i know they can do better. oh well.

ever since the lezbo one or the night of the living homeless one(both of which aired towards the end of the batch of 6 episodes last spring)  its been sub-par for them IMO.

OMG that was awesome!

i thought this weeks episode was alot better than last weeks by far. THAT ONE should've been the season opener.

I guess it might not be funny to some people but it was really up there for me because in my english class our teacher showed us a video or a documentary about a urban legend where they do a lottery to sacrifice some one in the town to have a good harvest and it was just so dead on that it was just great imo.

sometimes i think that South Park producers watch me and my friends cuase it seems sometimes alot of wat we do is also portrayed in the show as well.

Wow...pretty weak again. I don't think they've ever started a season off with me laughing less than these first two.

It was a very preachy episode.....but it had it's moments.  Had some laughs in it.

It was great up until we found out she survived.  Then it was just annoying.  It was pretty hilarious when she shot herself though.

They're trying a little too hard for the "big message" show.  Maybe it's just coincidence that two came back to back.  But I love the typical "little kid mischief" shows, too.  "Scott Tenorman Must Die" or whatever it was called is one of my favorites, ever.

OH...and the one about the LoTR/Porno mix up.  rofl

That's because the writers are just normal folks like the rest of us and all the shit they write about is really how most people are in real life - especially kids - we always had the one jerk in our group of girls too! Now of course they take it to the extreme which in real life we do but mostly not.

And I remember the movie you are talking about - I saw it in English class too - I think it's called "The Lottery". Great movie. Great lesson.

Stopped watching after she shot her head off. I really didn't think it was funny but it was dead on with the comment on today's media and how people are so obsessed with stars. My hub finished watching the rest and said I didn't miss anything. Peeing on the lady bug was the funniest part of the whole epi IMO.

scott tenorman must die is an all time classic.

the one when the kid gets out of juvie is great too.

so many good ones.

i have to say I think the two new Lil Bush episodes have had funnier moments than the latest SPs.

I've only seen about 4 or 5 of these shows(primarily because of you all), but I have to say that I'm impressed. Do you guys ever discuss the underlying meaning of what the authors are trying to convey? I loved the Britney episode, and I thought it was dead on ... watch out Hanna!

I thought the message in the Britney episode has already been discussed at length.  It wasn't anything new - I almost feel like Matt/Trey ripped off the talking heads on the news.  I think that Dr. Drew guy is going to release a book about how we have brought back the human sacrifice.

which ones did you see Crazy?

I dont know if i can pick an all time favorite episode but I do absolutely love the woodland critter christmas. Its the only time in the history of the show I fell off my chair laughing so hard after the hail satan line. It was just so shockingly funny.  rofl I also loved the ending.  smoking

sometimes its the subtle things that crack me up with south park.

like in the episode with the whale.

a green peace whale lover guy comes up and shouts "SAVE THE WHALES...MOTHERFUCKER" and starts shooting people. i found that hilarious.

I love it when they take the piss out of movies. Stereotypes anyway. Like in imaginationland, end of the first episode when cartman is in the truck the "when a man...has been wronged" speech, i found that hilarious.
