... but the Rock In Rio site is about as official as it gets...

... if it said "Axl states mid-March", then...gulp...mid-March it is.

In fact, after a second read... there are a lot of misinformation there: They say Axl stated that to RS, and we know he didn't. In other link they say the current formation has Josh Freeze and Dave Navarro... in other words, the guy who made that text doesn?t know a thing about GNR, and got a decade-dated information... sad but true... whatever, what does really matter is that Guns will be there and CD will come out this year!!!!

Yeah, and the saddest thing is that I'm actually going to Europe in July, so I'll miss them by a few weeks. And there is no way I can go any earlier. How annoying.

why are you bitter/sarcastic about that post? i'm glad merck confirmed it. if you don't remember, gnr has supposedly been "booked" to do tours through europe without management or axl even knowing... so i think it's important that merck acknowlged it.

i thought mods here didn't encourage bashing of other forums...
