I don't really care for Silkworms but Riyadh isn't too bad. The studio version of it probably sounds killer! ok

I also like both songs. I think Riyadh and the Bedouins would be great as a studio cut and hope it is on the cd. I liked the version from Auburn Hills. The only time they played it on the 2002 - 2003 North America "Chinese Democracy" World Tour  Sad. Silkworms is not a bad song. I just don't think it will be on the cd.

youre opinion is more than valid my friend, but Ive got to tell you, as far as im concerned those are the two WORST tracks ive ever heard performed by anyone....and putting a GnR sticker on them would be the biggest mistake Axl will ever make (2nd to not turning up on June 9th in Dublin that is) Cool

I like them both, just wish I could hear them in a better quality recording. IMO they should include them both on CD.

Maybe there should be a mid-show medley of OMG, Rhyiad and Sillkworms. That way everyone can get a beer if they're not into it, the rest can enjoy the tunes.

I've always thought Rhyiad has great potential and I'm sure they were experimenting with the song in the last tour. I've found myself listening to Silkworms quite a lot recently too, there's some of the old GN'R attitude in their. Much prefer this song to My World.

Sounds like a plan, perhaps they could use the Silkworms intro to the same effect as the Exorcist video in 2001.

I like Rhiad, I think it's a rocking song.? Silkworms isn't what I want to hear from GnR, the lyrics were bad and I didn't like Axl singing with the Down On The Farm voice, but the music itself is actually cool

Definitely right on with the Down on the Farm reference. I like the music in Silkworms a lot though -

i think silworms is a descent song. it rocks. Kind of like a new tyoe of punk song.

rhiad...ill wait on it. SO far it doesnt do much for me other than the intro and the bucket solo

Both of these songs are horrible.  Songs like this give nu GNR a horrible name.  Songs like Better show us the potential of this band.  Lets just consider these two songs a failed experiment in the world of GNR.  You can throw Oh My God in there too.  After Oh My God, all I can say is "Oh My God, that was awful."  Bring on Better!

I agree with most of the posters here...Rhiad has a TON of potential and probably would be a great studio track.

As for Silk Worms...that track is pure garbage, which is probably why on one of the live versions that I heard, he told the crowd it was Dizzy and Pitman who compsed it.

When he screams "Salvation" and then "Frustration" it just sounds so cheesy.  Is Salvation the world that when you have nothing to sing about, just scream "salvation" and that will justify what you are trying to say?  Seems like a lot of bands sing about "salvation."  I can't beleive the song Better and TWAT came from the same artist that did these two.
