personally I think they should do 1000 people clubs before they start off headlining festivals but thats just my opinion

yeah 1000 people clubs are cool i think. it might not be axl`s thing nowadays, but it`s great for the audience ok

i could picture zakk wylde pulling for gnr, he really likes axl.
I can also picture me not holding my breath. hihi

Zakk Wylde is awesome. On the live at Budokan DVD, i saw him playing a solo with his mouth during the guitar solo after No more Tears

I just heard on 93.3 wmmr in philly that GnR is being considered for as a possible headliner for Ozzfest this year since ozzy and black sabbath will not be playing the festival.

not sure how this would pan out since i think ozzfests schedule conflicts with the current guns dates in europe, but it would be a great way to introduce the new guns to the states and help win back the people.

Didn't Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy bash the shit out of Axl?

I don't know why he would want to associate with them, and do Ozzfest.

no actually Sharon had some real nice things to say about Axl on a vh1 tv show...something like shes glad hes back, hes one of the greatest frontmen ever and hopes he has a strong comeback...this was in o2/03

Ozzy has also said similar comments, about how Axl was one of the best frontmen hes ever seen and how he thought Guns could have been the next rolling stones.

Never thought GNR would be a good fit at Ozzfest, wrong type of audience. ?Not sure they'd have the temperment/patience to sit throught NR, TWAT or any long ballad type offering. ?Rolling out a grand piano in front of that crowd could get ugly.

The first time Axl went diva on Sharon would be the last time, no matter what she's said about him in the past..

there are and will be enough rockers to play a show without twat/nr etc....   i doubt they will do that though...

ozzfest would be great news for me (and anyone else living near philly) since it is always held at the tweet center in camden NJ. I dont know if anyone remembers, but axl was banned from playing in philly after what happened in 2002.

I must say that... 1000 people shows would be stupid... none of us would be able to get tickets... the venues they are playing are fine... headlining? I don't know, but they need to play at least 4000 - 100000 seated venues

When Sharon had the guys from Camp Freddy on her now defunct talk show, they all enjoyed a nice bit of axl slapping. She was not nice at all. Quite a shrew in fact.

It won't happen. The audience would kill them. Especially with the new sound that these demos have.. Ozzfest is a hardcore audience and will let you know when its time to pack the gear and go home.

Seems to me that GNR are going to have their hands full on the festival circuit in Europe.  So I can't see Ozzfest as a possibility.

Bullshit.

The Ozzfest crowd were more than kind to Will Smith and his Wife's new band...enough said about that.
