Cradle of filth, is one of the greatest bands nowadays... those guys kick ass live....  No idea why Gnr is with cradle of filth too different.

Im sure Cradle have been on the Download lineup for sometime. According to the site as well, when i last looked this morning Bullet for My Valentine were on before GNR.

Yeah it is Cradle is before Bullet.  Looks like they could not get a decent surprise band so they just 'bumped' everyone up, or maybe they want to keep it a secret, in the past they've had 2 surprise bands....

I noticed Soil have been added to the main stage for Day 1......awesome....Halo...joint...awesome!

True i expect things to be mixed round a bit or bands added since the Main Stage has 7 bands Day 1, 9 Day 2 and 10 Day 3.

As cool as having Guns N' Roses & Metallica is, aside from a few bands (Soil, Backyard Babies....) overall, i liked last years line-up a lot more....

Probably wouldnt like them, that is unless you like Hatebreed or Terror? Hardcore matey! Only problem is, these guys are sXe so they wont let you smoke a spliff when hey are performing. That sucks but their music doesnt!

How do you get to Derby after GN'R's set has ended?

The coach info on the Download site makes no sense....

Also, in case nothing else works, is it possible to walk to the airport and catch a coach from there?

I was wondering that myself. I've booked accomadation in Derby instead of camping you see.


I guess it's just a case of calling a taxi or something but surely a fair few people will be leaving at the same time  Undecided

Wow, Jarmo in the East Midlands, i love it. J, there is a shuttle bus that runs from the site to Derby, and also as you pointed out, you will be able to get a coach from the airport which is like 5 minutes away.
