Also, could you find out for me WTF an "American Express Check" is.?
I've heard of "American Express Travelers Cheques" but they wouldn't be used for something like this.?

Well this is definately legit  The whole thing has been organised by Izzy.

Your query about the town spelling might be correct but I cannot say. That is exactly how Izzy sent it to me and I havent changed it. Like you said, the zip code is correct so it will be fine. I have had so many questions over the last few days it is unbelievable. I will not email Izzy to ask him everything because he has stated to me:

"If this is fun, we can do it again in the future"

I want Izzy to have no problems with this, he doesnt need me hassling him with 50 questions a day 

Again, American Express Check is just Izzys words. He would prefer you NOT to send cash because he thinks it is unsafe. If you do send cash it must :

Izzy Stradlin (ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist) fan site www.izzy.34sp.com has posted ordering information forStradlin's unreleased solo album "Like a Dog". As previously reported, only 975 original promo copies (without artwork) of "Like a Dog" are being made available through the site.

"Like a Dog" was recorded and mastered at Nomad Recording Studios in Carrollton, Texas during April/May 2003. The recording lineup for the sessions was as follows:

is this the album release?  or promo copies implies there will be a proper album release (incl. artwork) as a followup?  If so, then I'd rather shell out money for the real thing.

This is the album release. It will not be available in record stores, this is only available because we asked for it. This is an easy way for Izzy to release it. All of the official artwork can be downloaded from my site and suitable for home printing.

You are buying the real thing. The discs are officially printed, promotional copies. It is NOT a cheap cdr being flogged, they are official silver discs shipped in a jewel case... all you need to do is print off your own artwork

Im not acting as a record label, I am just promoting this thing for Izzy through the Izzy site. I am dealing with all questions and helping out as many people as I can. The less I bother Izzy the more fun this will be for him

Awesome that the album arrived  A lot of people on our Izzy Board have also started to receive the album. Its so fucking cool that I can now talk about it with other fans hehe
