This Band Sucks! (Artists not worthy of having a record contract)

any emo band (My Chemical Romance, AFI, etc.)

reasons:

No musical talent whatsoever. Simple 4 chord songs with a bridge and chorus, nothing unique about their playing style

all they sing about is "my life sucks, my girlfriend left me, a wanna die"

they try to be gothic with thier clothes and attitude, but they're just little girls pretenting to be guys

they suck

AFI? you have to be joking ,  their songs are pretty cool , and yea they express alot of saddness and unhappiness in their lyrics but not in the childish way you wrote in your post .

Well basically any band that appeard since 1999.
I am very glad all thoose bands are coming back from 60' (Cream,  Small faces),  80' (Europe,  Tears for Fears,  Bangles,  Cure),  90'  (Smashing Pumpkins,  Black Crowes...).
Although,  I am just declared fan of GNR (till 93),  Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins,  not to forget Europe were the first band I liked,  so there always will be sympathy for them no matter what they do.

The "artists", the producers, the labels, even the audience - fuckin' cunts, every single one of them.

Like someone else said before, it would be easier to list the artists that deserve a contract than those who don't deserve one.

Please, dont ask me how, but somehow I ended up watching a piece of that Its Good To Be....Paris Hilton crap on E.And I just couldnt belive what that asshole said.While they were talking about her making a record, the studio owner  and producer of Paris said, and I quote:
"The whole recording and producing proces costs  thausands of dollars, but as she is so talented I`ll do all of it for free"

Next morining  my mom asked me why there was a hole on the TV (I now Its a bad joke, but i just had to do it)

Video killed the radio star... Most bands who are on MTV or VH1 are directly put there due to pay-for-play and other promotions.  Supposed "Artists" like Avril Lavigne, Lindsey Lohan, Ashlee Simpson, and other groups including this whole Emo trend are here because the record labels and MTV have put them here. 

If Led Zeppelin came out in this day in age, would they be as successful?  Hell no, there are bands out there who should be successful.  Bands like Gov't Mule, Muse, and others will never be as successful as they should be, because the younger generation are now being "told" what to like.  And unfortunatley, I do not see this trend ever changing.
