so what d'ya think? I a pretty big fan, though i think the whole southern thing can and does get over used in most of their songs..especially **forgets name** where the whole song they are talkin about the govenors of alabama..disscuss

Just bought their live DVD, it's very good, liked their Southern Rock Opera album, indeed sometimes a little over the top but they come away with it.
still as far as iam concerned, their not in the same league as Allman Bros./Widespread Panic

I recently discovered these guys and grew to love them instantly.  I love the three vocalists and the touch of punk rock attitude in their songs.  Decoration Day and the Dirty South are classic albums.  I love that they bash Ronald Reagan for being the bastard that he was and still is in hell!  I hear blends of the Eagles, the Stones and all the great southern rock bands of yesterday.  Long live the DBT!!!!!!
