I was just wondering,. if Arnie and Axl are such good friends and they released Oh my God in the End of Days OST, why is there no new song in the Terminator 3 movie?

Well there wasn't one in "Junior" or "Jingle all the way" either and there's no one complaining about that. I think it's not too smart to think that Axl would get a slot for every Arnold movie just because he knows him.

This follows the same mentality of - why wasn't GNR at the last VMA's
But in this case - we know the album isn't done  yet - so having a song back then wasn't really possible.

I think T3 would have been another great launching ground, but alas, they weren't ready. BTW, T3 kicks ass!

Is there any evidence that they are really friends? Or is it just a business relationship?

Arnold has made alot of action movies. I think YCBM in T2 was about timing. The album was out and the video for YCBM was a plug for both t2 and GnR. I think Geffen thought OMG would of had some success on the radio or spawned off a similiar video on mtv helping both, but the Movie didnt do too well at the box office like T2 and it didnt give them both the same success, Why try a 3rd time when the 2nd was that successful? Friends or not

probably the same reason they didn't have a song for Terminator 1, the band was inactive, or pretty much non-existant.

You need to slap yourself repeatedly for making that comment.  Tongue

Terminator was released in 1984.  I think you can figure out why there was no GN'R song on the soundtrack. ok

it would have been great, i was counting on it for years, T3 was excellent and would have been better with a GNR tune...maybe pt. 4, cause its gonna happen sooner or later anyway yes

That's super, now that you've insulted half the board, how about you stop?  I'm sure there are other places you can release your anger.

How did a T3 - GNR conversation turn into a gay, douche bag and booby topic? confused

Anyway, I was disappointed that GN'R didn't have a song in the movie but it just wasn't meant to be.
