Without knowing the details about logistics, but I'm assuming that just because a place exists between the origin and the destination, doesn't mean it's simple to just stop there and put on a show.

So getting gear from Los Angeles to Australia, you might think "Hey, Hawaii is in the middle, why not?". But it might not be that simple. Maybe it's not actually en route.
