I have recently purchased a Mac and I can't seem to be able to download/play anything I get from megaupload or rapid share through iTunes on the Mac.

Can someone help me out?

I am not the best when it comes to computer stuff.

Cheers!  beer

What file formats are you trying to play?

VLC will play almost anything and is free http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html

You can just drag mp3s into iTunes and it will add them to your library.

I did try that but it wouldn't take. There is definitely something wrong that I am doing.

Thanks for the link Jarmo!

Nah they're in MP3. When I click and drag from the file location it just flick back to it when I let it go over iTunes.

Are you dragging it to the area where it says Library?

You have to create a "new playlist" and give it a name. If your mp3s are a specific show give it a date (GNR 12.31.11, d 1). If they are assorted songs assign it "assorted GNR." Whatever. Once you have named a playlist the folder will appear on the left side. You can then drag songs into the new folder by opening it (click it) and everything should be fine. They will appear when you click on that folder. If you want to burn the contents of the folder to CD you can do that too. Just open the folder, insert a blank CD, and under "File" find "burn to..." and you are set.

Yeah I was and nothing was happening. I have to be doing something wrong somewhere.

You have to create a "new playlist" and give it a name. If your mp3s are a specific show give it a date (GNR 12.31.11, d 1). If they are assorted songs assign it "assorted GNR." Whatever. oh ok cool. I will give that a shot when I get off work.

Thanks mate  ok
