Axl Rose, Musicians
Frontman for what was, for a while there, the greatest rock and roll band on the planet, Axl Rose retreated into semi-seclusion for years in the 1990s, verbally sparring from afar with his old Guns N' Roses band mates and working -- and working, and working -- on the long-delayed Chinese Democracy album that he hoped would cement his reputation as a songwriter and producer who had to be reckoned with. (It didn't.)

Ah yes, Life.com "reporter," I remember well that interview with Axl where he stated, "Chinese Democracy will cement my reputation as a songwriter and producer who has to be reckoned with."

Where do they find these hacks???

At least they used a fairly cool pic.

That's silly - Axl's reputation as a songwriter-and-producer-to-be-reckoned-with was cemented 20 years ago!

Axl can take advantage of that rep.  Every time somebody asks if it's him, he can say nope, not me, everybody knows Axl's a recluse.

^Exactly!!  Even if the small paragraph is once again derogatory regarding Axl, he is still on Yahoo this morning, my eyes were not expecting such a treat Shocked.  As far as the writer goes, I have this to say rant rant rant, try to write something positive, nice words go along way yes.
