Notes:

- The master 24 bits / 48 khz WAVE files were provided by RASPAXL: http://blog.daum.net/raspaxl
- Cover artwork designed by Maurito14 www.GNRLA.com
- [from www.HTGTH.com] Show in a chilly Seoul. After It's So Easy, Axl greets the crowd with "Seoul! Korea! Very good to be here with you tonight. Thank you for having us!". After Mr. Brownstone he asks the crowd if they thought he was going to be there. You Could Be Mine features footage of Formula 1 racing on the video screen. The band jams on Lou Reed's song Walk On The Wild Side and Axl also plays Elton John's Someone Saved My life Tonight before November Rain.
- No edition / equalizing done at all, except for a 2 sec linear fade out in track #22
- FLAC fingerprints, MD5 file, Integrity Test, SHNTOOL audio file details and speed test results included.
- You CAN NOT burn these 24 bits files into CD-R's. If you want to do that, you'll have to downsample the files to 16 bits / 44 khz. You can do that with almost every audio tool available in the internet. I highly reccomend dBpowerAmp, SONY Soundforge, Adobe Audition or Nero Wave Editor for the downsampling.
- You CAN make a DVD-Audio with these files. For more information about how to burn a DVD-Audio, check this website: http://24bit.turtleside.com/ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Audio
- Raspaxl (the guy who did this possible) has no problems at all with converting his files into lossy formats. However, if you download this and then you convert it to mp3, you're really stupid. Just download the mp3 version which can be found here: http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=58500.0
- If you want to ''remaster'' this recording, re-tracking it, etc, ask permission to Raspaxl, not to me. I highly suggest not to alter this recording by any means.
- DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUNSTANCE, SELL THIS RECORDING. FEEL FREE TO SHARE THIS LINKS WHEREVER YOU WANT.

FAQ:

Q: What software do I need to play these files?
A: Almost all audio players can play these files. I'm currently using Foobar2000, which is free. With the proper plugin installed, you can play this also in WMP, Winamp and iTunes.

Q: Is 24 bit really ''better'' than standard 16 bit (CD-quality)
A: Yes it is. You may not notice any difference playing these files in cheap PC speakers with cheap/onboard sound card devices. But there's a concrete and perceptible difference qualitywise.

Q: Can I burn 24 bit files to an audio CD?
A: No. Audio CD's are limited to 16-Bit, 44.1 kHz. (that's 44,100 samples per second, with each sample being 16 bits long). 24 Bit recordings are generally recorded at 48 kHz, 96 kHz, or even 192 kHz. Although those are the usual sample rates for 24 bit files, some recorders will only record at 44.1 kHz. So it is possible to have 24 bit, 44.1 kHz files.

This recording was shared for free and for the first time at www.HTGTH.com (January 16th, 2010)

This is the 24 bits 48 khz version. These are the specifications for the original source RaspAxl recorded. Limulus' version is 16 bit 44 khz, which is a downsampled version with the purpose and main advantage that can be burnt into standard CD-Rs.

You will not be able to burn these files into CD-Rs. CD-Rs only allow 16 bit/44khz audio files. But these files are superior qualitywise than Limulus', and they're also a lot bigger as you may see.

You have two options here:

1) You just listen to these files in your PC (almost any software can play 24 bit FLAC files): if you do not have good speakers and a good sound card, or if you're not an audiophile freak, just skip these files. You'll not notice the difference with the 16 bit version, or you'll notice it but the immense size of these files could not be worth for you.

2) You can make an ''audio-DVD'' (DVD-A) and listen to it in standalone DVD / PS3.

the 2 main problems why 24bit recordings arent that common yet is because people dont know much about it and miss the equipment for "real playback" 24bit. most of equipments like soundcards and hifi receivers downsample internally to 16bit....so you simply cant hear a difference to the CDR version, even though 24bit is superior in the first place.
the stupid old CD 16bit/44.1khz standard (from beginning of the 80s!!!) still is fine to most of music listeners.

probably the best way for now is:
- spreading 16bit/44.1khz on torrents / mp3s on fan forums
- then little later 24bit for the audiophiles

and actually this just happened here  beer

Thanks for your effort, Estebanf.

And the covers are really cool for my poor recording.

Thanks for that, Maurito14.  Smiley

I cant remember if there is any other 24 bit GNR recording circulating out there. If I'm not wrong, this is the very first one in our community (at least, with ''open'' circulation).

the only problem with Maurito14 covers is they always end up being sold as japanese bootlegs. He has already made covers for other ''edits'' made by me in the past, and they ended up being sold. They are so good looking and he always provide them in a grotesque high resolution / definition, that make japanese bootleg companies drool. He's a very talented guy, but everytime we see ''our'' work being sold we feel pretty much dissapointed.

You should check his dvd covers. He did lots in the past. They're the best in our community, no doubt about it.

Yeah, he made the best covers I've ever seen before. I was suprised he made covers for my recording cause I already have DVD covers he made and I didn't know the designer you said to me is him.

I'm glad that he is in our community.  Smiley

Good work man!
I did some artwork too a few years ago. I remember I did one for Oklahoma '92 (John M's version), inspired by Gladiator, that was pretty cool. But that was a long time ago.
