I actually counted 12 passes and didn't see the moonwalking bear at all, I stayed focused on the white team so I could count passes as well.

Everybody does. I saw Derren Brown, at some theatre and all that, a week or so ago. He opened with a clip like this (no doubt where these guys got it from; current tour and all that (not crediting it to him directly, of course!, but I have no doubt that it's what brought it to their attention)), except that it was table tennis, not basketball. And gorillias. It was great!
