Vr site update

Welcome to the South-Type Thang
Ola! Yes, we are south of America, in South America, and this place is beautiful! Our first show in Santiago, Chile was great, we debuted some new songs, and somehow they knew some of the words already? hmmm? wonder how that could be? These fans are amazing! Very passionate people, fiercely loyal, and they love to have a good time. If only we could learn to enjoy life in North Amorica the way they do in Souf Amorica!

Our second city was incredible! Sao Paulo, Brazil. I like big butts and I cannot lie? Crazy motorcycle police escorts. Driving in the wrong direction on the opposite side of the median, sneaking into hotels through the back door all clandestine and shit, through the kitchen and past the laundry facilities, (I think I saw someone get tangled in dirty bed sheets and slip on beefsteak lardfat, then fall into a pile of leftover salmongunk), girls crying and passing out as we walk by, mothers begging us to kiss their babies, etc., etc.. It?s all very Beatle-esque here in Brazil.? Just another day at the office. 55,000 screaming fans, the energy was omni-present. We played with Aerosmith, one of the last real rock & roll bands, and had a grand time hanging out with them. After the show we went to an amazing Brazillian restaurant, where they cut the meat off the big ?ole kibobs straight onto your plate. My oh my, what a wonderful life!

Now we?re in Rio de Janeiro, and I?m looking out my hotel window. It?s a panoramic view; to the left are the favelas at the foothills of the Corcovado Mountain, and at the top of the mountain is the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, 710 metres up (that?s 2,329.39632545 feet for the conversionally-challenged). Straight ahead the mountains come down to meet Copacabana Beach, and to the right is Ipanema Beach on the Atlantic Ocean.? What a sight! Keep a look-out in Vlog #5 for footage. We all walked across the street to the beach this evening (Guanabara Bay), and behind us the sun was setting, with rays of sunlight cutting through the clouds like the light of God himself, between two GINORMOUS rocks (also known as mountains). What a sight!

Tonight we played a theatre that holds 7,000 people (that?s 7,000 for? anyway). A little different from last night?s show. Possibly the best show yet.

So we?re off to Buenos Aires in the mornin?. Yee-Haw!
