yeah I see what ur saying D, and trust me, BSSM isn't my favourite album because of Under the Bridge!
I love Cali and BTW too, but BSSM just hits my funky bone real hard, haha.

and yeah, can't just listen to the singles if you wanna state an opinion about a whole album!

by the way in my opinion is more of a concept record, it isnt a good time, fun record.

Its a melancholy as fuck record except for By The Way,Cant Stop,Minor Thing and On Mercury.

It hit me at a time when my life was shitty and horrible and hard and that record fuckin spoke to me and gave me strength and hope.

By The Way isnt for entertainment purposes alone, that record changed my life.

I challenge anyone who is goin through a heartbreak or a lousy fuckin time in their life to buy this CD and listen from start to finish.

U will Cry,scream, break shit but feel better after Venice Queen goes off.

The Replacements- First couple albums were good, but they didn't become a great band until "Let it Be."

Type O Negative... Grin

Sorry. But they could release an album as good as Sargent Peppers and I wouldn't listen to it.

After hearing the laughably childish "I don't wanna be...I don't wanna be me", I could never listen to them. That song was awful beyond belief.

But, their other stuff is better? Or in the same vein?

Err, I'm not too sure about getting better...

But a band that I feel have been consistently great are Opeth.

And. Err.

Guns N' Roses? I thought the Illusions were better than Appetite.

And if the new songs are like Madagascar then...

Yes. GNR.

October rust is a serious, good quality TON album. And I share your opinion on the song you mentioned, I don't really think much of that album anyways.

But a band that I feel have been consistently great are Opeth.

Oh yes.
