Don't see how it could be.  Times have changed.  GN'R is still pretty popular, and if it were to be released it would definitely be a big deal.  But that type of music isn't nearly as mainstream as it was in 1987.  So I don't see it being nearly as big.

you`ve to see that the music style changed. axl won`t be releasing a second afd. chinese democracy will be a lot more modern and i think songs like irs could make it big.

Good point...I just hope he doesn't change the sound so much that you can't tell it's GN'R.  I really hate when bands drastically change their sound just to fit in with the times.  Truly great bands create trends instead of following them.

Appetite for Destruction (as we all know) was huge , but thats not saying Chinese Democracy wont be good
