Use Your Illusion I (1991)

« on: February 15, 2005, 01:10:54 PM »

Hey does anyone know of this band?

I think they are very good and Rossdale is tough to beat lyrically. I love Glycerine. Very simple and great song. What do you guys think about them?

I like Bush. Pretty cool band in my opinion.

"Everything Zen", "Letting the Cables Sleep", "The Chemicals Between Us", and "Machinehead" are all really good songs.

I think they suck. Until this thread, I can honestly say I haven't heard anyone mention them since I was in grade 9, which was about 8 or 9 years ago.

I have to agree.  Bush were the flavor of the month back in what...1996?  Only song I could ever tolerate was "Come Down".  And Rossdale had the most annoying voice in the entire grunge era (if you want to call it an 'era').

I like them, i like GR's voice, i wasnt very into the Grunge Era but Bush came towards the climax really and yes they have some kickass tunes.
Everything Zen and Glycerine being two of my faves.

Well I always saw them as pop raping grunge - wasn't a fan
They used to be called Bush X  in Canada because there was another Bush in Canada

I did buy Sixteen stone and play it every once in a while. It brings me good memories.

I must say I was a fan when I started college, me and a friend of mine would cover Glicerine ( same chord structure as With or Without you) and Comedown.

Gavin Rosdale, lead singer, is not only Gwen Stefani's husband, but an actor now. Any of you have seen the new Keanu Reeves movie Constantine? Movie sucks, but it was interesting to say the least to see Gavin.
