Is NAMM open to the general public?

From Steven's comments you would think so, but no.  Apparently the only attendees are NAMM member companies and their invited guests.

Also, Duff and Slash will be appearing on the same day as Steven at NAMM.

Duff @ the Rotosound booth (5596, Hall B) at 1:00 p.m.

Slash will be announcing the new "Slash" Marshall & Les Paul and a new signature series Seymour Duncun pick-up

STEVEN ADLER's Drum Solo At NAMM; Video Available - Jan. 20, 2010

Video footage of former GUNS N' ROSES and current ADLER'S APPETITE drummer Steven Adler playing a three-minute drum solo at the Rockett Drum Works (owned by POISON drummer Rikki Rockett) booth at this past weekend's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show can be viewed below.

That solo is bad ass. It's so great Steven is pretty much the reason I started playing drums. It's tight to see that he is still amazing.

I work with a lot of stroke patients, and the fact Steven can control his arm that way is truly amazing and shows his hard  work and dedication.

Sounded good but I admit I hate drum solos in general unless Tommy Lee is doing something crazy while doing one or the late great Eric Carr who in my opinion is the greatest drummer of all time.
