Yes, it's still legal tender. I've wrote various things on bills over the years, I remember when I was like 4 I wrote out the lyrics to LIve n' let die.

it's most likely not around anymore, bills are only around for a couple of years, how long depends on how much of a value it is.. a 20 swedish kronor bill is around for about a year while 1000 kr bills are around for more then 5 years because they aint used as often
