Could someone please upload the audio (if any is floating around) to The Starfuckers show in 2000 when Axl sung "Dead Flowers" and "Wild Horses" with Gilby?


It would be very grateful.


PS: I don't want the entire show. Just the songs mentioned above.

I don't know about recordings of that show, but check out Gilby's album Pawnshop Guitars for a studio recorded version with Axl on piano and backup vox with Gilby.

I honestly doubt there is anything from that show in existance.  After all it has been 7 years now and we've never heard of any such material from it, and it sounded like Axl's appearance was very unexpected, it was ashame it wasn't filmed, imagine the value of such a recording ok

I can assure you that this show doesnt exsist. All we have is an article in magazine that features a picture of Axl with a very dodgy haircut.

Theres also some thoughts from Gilby on that page

You can also hear Gilby talking about this in an interview from around 2004 with an Italian Journalist when he played Southern Italy. He basically talks to her about seeing Axl at the bar, having a talk with him, and Axl talking about the new 'Chinese Democracy' album lol which makes me laugh cause it was 7 years ago!

I still think his dodgy haircut looks a hell of a lot better than his dodgy braids. It just looks like he was growing it back out long again.

I'm pretty sure I have Dead Flowers from this show backed up on a disc somewhere. If I remember, I'll look for it when I get home. It could be a fake, but if it is, its DAMN good!

A few months ago I found this, it is a horrible recording and is incomplete but it is about 2:36 of the song.? I know it's not the official one but I am not sure it is from the Cathouse 2000 but it was labeled that way.
