I am selling some antiques of mine ( japanese/chinese), some was expertised by christies and other places.

Anyone wanting more info, contact me.

I will not speak of values unless serious proofs of both intent of buying and provision of cash.

Certificates of expertise will be provided for.

I was serious, i need the money urgentely, i need to leave where i live and for personal reasons, it is a case of emergency.

So should anyone know someone who could potentially be interested, tell them.

I won't go below what it's worth.

I can provide descriptions, and then, later, piccies.

Try craigslist or ebay....not sure if a GNR board is going to be full of antique collectors Smiley   Good Luck  beer

Just a question, why do you think a GN'R board has a huge market for those?

Did you try eBay?

I KNOW some people with money happen to be on the forum, and i need money, and people with money like antiques.
I am not going on ebay, too much fraud and i will never give out any personal details through ebay.
I am trying everywhere, i am waiting for " Drouot" in paris to come and see the stuff too, but i am i na hurry Jarmo, massive hurry, like urgency from urgency land, so please understand that i am trying everywhere.
The net is a media like another. So i am using any tool i can.

Giving out personal details through Ebay is the same as giving them on any other outlet on the net.  It's all dangerous in a respect but also needed if you intend on doing a transaction with someone.

And while I understand your need for urgency I don't know that a GNR forum is the place where you would find hoards of antique lovers-

Perhaps there are forums like this but for collectors?

don't know them.

Look, i didn't want to speak, but my baby's dad tried to kill me sunday, the police was at my home, i have ran all week to police, lawyers, councellors, child protrection and stuff, and i need to run away from where i live FAST, but can't afford the movers and a place to live right now because i don't work and the little money i have is blocked for 10 years.
I need cash, so if anyone knows a specialised site, super, but every day counts.

Try Craigslist, although I don't think it's as big overseas.. You could try posting the ad in cities like Boston, NY, Chicago, Philly etc.. but people might be skeptical giving $$ to someone overseas that fast.

Jarmo's right, even if some readers here have some decent cash,, doesn't mean they're looking to buy antiques with it. I'd go with Craiglist, that or suck it up & goto  ebay.

That sounds horrible.  my advice to you if you are that desperate to get cash is to sell on ebay - sounds like you don't have much to lose at this point by trying.  just only sell to people with good ratings/reputations.

It is horrible, my shrink who is also the president of the french association against harassment said he is a narcissic pervert with psychotic tendances and confused sexuality.
They are manipulators and she said most men or women living with one take YEARS to be able to leave them because they are entangled in a spider web.
I cannot tell you how he has been like since i said i was leaving and the butcher knife is just one out of some things he's pulled lately, thank god the neighbours heard me scream and called the police.
But when he did it, he had the baby in his arms.
I am terrified.

That is really horrible.  I am really sorry Jessica although I don't know you personally.

I would just get away as fast as possible especially being that you have a baby to worry about and not worry so much about the money.

Be well and be safe.

If i don't have a place to go to,the judge will take gaby away from me and the risk is that he goes to his father's custody.
I'd sell my fucking soul if i needed to!

Ebayer buyers are required to pay cash before shipment, if your worried about getting ripped off. Its basically pay or no sale. Cant get much safer on the net then that.

And for some reason I doubt there is a large, sophisticated group of antique buyers reading this part of the forum.

very sorry to hear of your situation, and sorrier that I cant suggest more to help.

http://www.bada.org/   - this site may be of some help? ebay has always been ok for me - you could do a Buy It Now offer and ask for immediate payment.  i never send items until i get the payment through and its always worked out for me.  i know someone who works at ebay and they work incredibly hard to prevent fraud there.

If Christies had a hand in some of your stuff before, could they assist again?  perhaps they could provide interested parties/private collector assistance?

apols if this is nothing new.

hope it all works out for you.  xx

http://search.sothebys.com/help/buying_selling.html

I understand you need stuff sold asap - but if its truely valuuable stuff, then going through the above channels may be less of a headache as these companies are the pros.

maybe contact them and see what they can do?  might be worth a shot.
