Alrite, I know this is physically impossible - but we should do whatever we can.... (not sure exactly how much we can do) to prevent people from uploading the album when it comes out to torrent form and LimeWire - and programs like that.

How do you guys feel about this. I think we should try and stop people from uploading the album - which will boost record sales... maybe... and put GNR back on top...

Just a crazy thought I had last night while trying to get to sleep. Give me some feedback, even if is negative.... nervous

This has already been discussed and it's a moot point. There's no way to stop people from uploading it once it's available. It could actually work the other way; people who download a song or two out of curiosity might be inspired to go out and buy the album.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about that.

Good point though, sometimes downloading a song or 2 will get someone to buy it when if they diidn't download it they never would have gotten it.

So am I to understand you didn't download IRS, Better, Catcher in the Rye, TWAT...you've never heard those songs, unless you went to a live show, correct?
