I bought some today at Circuit City... $30 and they're shitty with no bass and bad quality sound. I'm going to take them back. Which kind do you recommend? It's mostly for as I work out jogging and whatnot...for an iPod...

I bought a Philips headphone with extra bass for my iPod, it's really good. Got it in Lisbon for 20 Euros.

Yeah, but those things give out after some time.

Which kind do you recommend?

Bose or Altec Lansing. If u can afford the former, that is.

Sennheiser's are good (top quality). Stuff like the Sony MDR-7506 are nice too (for around $80). I'm not sure how much the srnnheiser's cost.

Although to qualify my position I hate adding extra base to music, lol.  I like the intended amounts of bass and treble.

Headphones in general are bad for you.

I'm forced to use them at work, 400$ ones no less, but I say minimal usage if you can.

I use them when I run. I do dislike using them for prolonged periods, though.
