Yeah man I am also an 'old' fan of the band and I also like the new band a lot, fact is that I've seen them in the early 90's and in 2006, and the new band is BETTER!!! Some people don't accept this but I think that?s the thruth, sorry.

Ritz 88-89 is absolutely great, I also like the 86-87 versions of Don?t cry a lot. But what I even more like is 06 madagascar, the blues, better etc....

Show some respect for the original guns! rant I mean Traci. GNR fans Today are not up to snuff.? no

 Tongue
Thanks give_it_a_rest david rose. someone has to say that.

If you ask me, this GNR(from 2002 onward) is the best band ever existed, with all due deference to rolling stones, Pink Floyd, zep, etc.? smoking

markpeterhughes and other fans since the 80s
Great to know that not a few veteran fans are unbiased and fanatic about this band.
You all kickass! ok

Don't know whether the 2002+ line-up is BETTER but certainly worth listening too. I myself, recall years earlier about the release of GNRLies and how I thought it was a little slow compared to Appetite and when the Illusion albums surfaced I had a similar feeling but was greatful that there was plentiful tracks. Obviously, all eventually grown on me.  In fact, every track did at some point but GNR are not what they were years earlier and their day has passed but US veterans still love the music and thats what counts, so when newbie's come along and join the bandwagon well hell....  They have GOOD TASTE.
I mean, Axl was young and influencial in his day and we would READ the articles in KERRANG and follow suit. Kids today don't admire 40 year olds unfortunately... LOL Think about it, Axl is what we thought of Lemmy, Bon Scott, Kiss Etc Etc. You know what I mean....

Been a fan since the beginning....saw it all while it was happening......Very impressed with what is happening now. Axl has been and always will be the greatest and most exciting LIVE performer this world will ever know. The new songs on the internet or wherever, blow away anything that rock has available today. And it's not even a matter of opinion.....
