First of all, I need this live track so if anyone has a clean version, the one where Axl's voice sounds best, please pm me a yousendit link or post it here.

Secondly, have you all heard Buckethead's solo on this track, in my opinion this essentially became his song on the 2002 tour and I want to include it on my new guns n roses mix cd.

Your thoughts on the solo if you heard it?

i love the way bucket ends the solos. if you want song links, go to the Appetite For Collection section where it's full of downloads.

yes, the best song of 2001/02 tour.

Vegas 01 - great Axl's voice
RIR3 - fantastic guitar work!
Leeds 02 - nice Buckethead's solo
Pukkelpop 02 - maybe the most different from original version, very recommendable though
Pittsburgh 02 - the best soundboard I think
Boston 02 and Albany 02 - both very fine Buckethead's solos

some downloads are at newgnr.com/newgnr in multimedia section, especially Pukkelpop and maybe Leeds videos

I like the solo, I even have it on video.  BUT, it is no slash.  Slash's solo sends me into a fucking craze that words can't even begin to describe.  Also, Buckethead lacks the charisma of Slash that leaves you absolutly breathless.  When you watch Slash lead the solo you know your watching a rock star.

Dude, you're not hearing what buckethead does too it......... it's absolutely amazing.

I like Slash better, I admit.. but Buckethead made this song his on the 2002 tour.

Ohh and When Buckethead is doing his solo he doesn't have kneel over or act all into it like a rock star... he is robotical about his ways and thats part of his gimmick.....

Buckethead doesn't need a gimmick.  The sad thing is that people are so closeminded, if he played the exact same way but went by Brian Carroll and wore leather pants, cowboy boots and a black t-shirt on stage a lot of his haters would probably love the guy

BH's Nightrain solo at Leeds '02 is freaking incredible. Easily one of my favorite soundbytes/clips from the new band.
