Paul gets a bad rap, all you guys that bash him do know he played guitar on SFTD right? And the funny thing is none of? you even noticed nor bashed his guitar playing on that song.

Ive commented on his playing on that song (or his 'answer-style' leads to Slash (to which he had no knowledge) many times.

Perhaps you should put that particular bit of GN'R history in context Dave as it was a major bone of contention in the scheme of things. Slash was unaware of those parts being put on SFTD. Someone like Huge doesn't  just waltz in to a GN'R recording session and fuck with Slash's parts. That was ultimately probably Axls fault, but Huge should have known better and shown some respect for the great man IMO.

Again, not entirely Huges fault, but still a major insult to Slash and seemingly one of the straws that broke the camels back so to speak.

Apart from that, the playing and concept behind those 'answer' chops is fairly dreadful stuff sonically as well.

Actually, if someone can dig up the article in which Slash talked about that track pissing him off, I think you'll find that Tobias inserted the 'call' parts and Slash's parts were made to be the 'return' parts. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

one thing is for sure, if Bucketheads parts stay on the album, they either have to change the solos live (which will suck a bit) or hire a shredder who can play it.
either Robin or Richard can play as fast as Bucket
