Title: What are you favorite cheesy tracks?
Post by: mrlee on September 07, 2009, 08:08:03 AM
We've all got songs we know are cheesy, but you dig them anyway!

Whats your favorite cheese?

Obviously ones definition of cheese differs. But feel free to post the track and explain why.

Heres one of mine.

Huey Lewis and the News - Heart and Soul

That track is a very fun catchy track. But theres no doubt its dated as hell with those keyboards!!! Its got that cheese feel all over it. But its good times.

haha Cherry Pie is extreme cheese.

To be fair, if you check out there 80s singles...i think they are even cheesier believe it or not.

Songs like Down Boys!! Cheese.

They did do one seriously rocking song though that i think anyone that likes rock can dig on. Called "Uncle Toms Cabin". Nice dirty riffs.

My aunt used to pick me up from elementary school blasting Huey Lewis and the News from her car stereo. I remember feeling embarrassed back then. I like their music now, but back then it mortified me as much as country music did.

I like Kenny Rogers' "Lucille".

And anything off Monster Ballads.
