Friends sister in law receives a voucher for a fancy restaurant out in Dalkey (Dublin). Heads over & takes her seat . Restaurant manager asks if she wouldn't mind giving up the table as a local usually sits at that table & is due in . So she relocates to another table ....low & behold mr paul & Ali hewson come in with another couple & sit down. All through the meal the girl is too nervous to ask for bonos autograph. She heads outside for a cigarette.Bumps into the gentleman who's at bonos table & asks if he can sort out the autograph. He duly obliges on completion of their meal they all say goodnight & bono & his group leave. Delighted she heads up to the counter with her voucher to pay for the meal. OH thats already paid for came the reply. Now why did bono go & do that she replied in a tone as if she knew him all his life. The manager replies bono didnt pay .........Bruce Springstein did......................CLASSIC. She didnt have a clue who the boss was :rofl: & she getting him to get bonos autograph.
