There is a difference between grown ass people take jabs at each other. And a nearly fifty year old fucking with a kid.

Yeah that is warped I agree.

But still, if the chick killed herself over this, she obviously had some pretty deep fucking issues and would've more than likely eventually killer herself anyway.

agreed, she was also some one that wasn't the most pretty and got made fun of frequently and probably never was talked to by other boys and most likely grew up in a broken home with a momma that drinks and a daddy that gambles so if her life really was anything like that then it was inevitable.

We've all been broken hearted and rejected. So if u kill yourself over a broken heart, it was inevitable. When she did get a real boyfriend and he fucked her over, u would've seen the same result.

Didn't you read the story?

Were talking about a young kid, Megan, here who had just suffered from her parents divorce and who Lori Drew knew was emotionally fragile.

Lori then made a profile "Josh" and Megan was lured in, "Josh" turned on her, heaping verbal abuse until the teen went over the edge.

Seriously, when a 48 year-old pushes a 13 year old over the edge with a plan, it's not just some prank.

Psychological abuse can be much worse than physical abuse.

About time somebody learned a lesson.

Sorry guys. I just don't have the same reaction

If it were me and that happened to me and some fuck wouldn't leave me alone, I would

A: Delete them from my MySpace

B: just stop fucking reading the messages

C: get off the fucking computer.

I have a long track record of not having much sympathy for suicide.

Again dude it was a child not a fully grown person. A child that seem to already be going through some shit. And then some cunt  starts up and account to fuck with.It would be bad if the person that was messing with the kid was a kid themselves , but they were a nearly fifty year old .

They should lock her parents up as well

This woman wrote her a message saying the world would be better off without her? and she killed herself?

just saying, u'd have to have some unbelievably deep and fucked up emotions to kill yourself over that.

Dude, teenagers are crazy like that.

It's wrong to harass children, come on now.  A grown woman should have better things to do than to pick fights over MySpace.

(I am 100% against suicide, it's an unforgivable offense.)

yeah, im not saying that something shouldn't be done to her. sure it should but still yet, this girl was obviously badly neglected by her parents and had deep problems.

I dont think the Myspace thing alone is what made her kill herself. I'd say it was a final straw sort of thing.

The indictment is old news.  She just got off on the most serious charges.

Jurors Clear Lori Drew of Felonies in Landmark Cyberbullying Trial
Posted Nov 26, 2008, 02:38 pm CST
By Molly McDonough

Jurors cleared Lori Drew of the most serious charges against her in the first federal cyberbullying case to go to trial.

The six-man, six-woman jury acquitted Drew, 49, of three felony charges of violating the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Wired magazine reports.

The high-profile case drew international attention after allegations emerged that Drew's participation in a 2006 MySpace hoax led to a 13-year-old girl's suicide.

The dead girl's mother, Tina Meier, reportedly shook her head as the verdict was read.

Wired notes that the case hinged on a novel argument, that violating MySpace's terms of service for the purpose of harming another was the legal equivalent of computer hacking. Drew faced up to five years in prison for each charge.

Jurors, however, convicted Drew of three misdemeanor counts of gaining unauthorized access to MySpace to gather information about the girl, Megan Meier. Jurors deadlocked on a related conspiracy charge.
