I agree with you gunns1. Why do some seem to think there needs to be a world cause in order for it to be the right time to release a long awaited album? The only cause that would make it the right time to the release the album is when Axl sees fit.

Anywho, the OP is correct.  There really isn't a better time to release the album.  Axl has both the Olympics and Dr. Pepper, which will both give him huge publicity, and free too.  Can't beat that.
