Title: Move to the City
Post by: Irish gunner II on March 08, 2008, 05:54:08 PM
A very underrated song in my opinion. It's a great upbeat song and the live version of the song during the Illusion tour was brilliant. the second part of the song was just a blues jam and it sounds great. The live era version is great(whether it is fully live or not isin't the point) and Duff's bass sound on that version is brilliant.

Totally agree.I actually prefer listening to the live era version because of the jam.

I agree!! I can't say that there is any GNR song I don't like, this one is just not a personal fav, but I do love all the musical talent involved on this song and that it is extremely upbeat. :)

I liked the studio version, but the Live Era version is SOOOO much better. I can't believe I never heard this version till a few days ago. It's great!

It is a killer tune for sure.  I think its all live on live era because it sound identical to me as it does on the Tokyo DVD's.
