Zeitgeist is an amazing album, that'd be my number one. Past that it's a crapshoot.

I'm thinking of possibly picking up the new smashing pumkins album on my next visit to the record store though.
Title: Re: Best of 2007 (So Far) Post by: GeraldFord on July 13, 2007, 06:47:15 AM With a few years of utter shit under our belts, I feel like it's been a pretty good year for major music releases this year (Chinese Democracy or not). Time to call this one. What're your top 5 favorite albums released so far this year? Obviously it'll change as the year progresses. Mine in order... I would agree with all of those except for the new Ozzy, not that great, IMHO. I also really like the new Tori Amos and QOTSA. Really an amazing album, a lot of variety in the songs and strong lyrics (this could be better on Libertad). I think he put a good band around him, he does the rest.
Title: Re: Best of 2007 (So Far) Post by: JMack on July 19, 2007, 10:30:41 AM Libertad so far but I'm not totally sold on it yet.? I have to listen more to it for it to surpass contraband on my VR list. However being biased I would put it at the top of the list so far.
