Title: tour stategy
Post by: RR Mafia on September 15, 2006, 06:10:15 PM
I think what they are doing is very smart.

A mini tour of cali that includes a big event like inland invasion is a great jumping off point for the band.

Once they reestablish themselves in their home state, word is gonna spread like wild fire.  For the most part people in america dont know this band even exists anymore. Once the word is out that this band rocks, fans are going to get excited  and this will become a very hot ticket.

Once that happens and single is released to radio and there is word of a new album this thing is going to blow sky high.

People love Guns n Roses music in america, and there is a hunger for great Rock n Roll, they just need to be reminded that it still exists. :peace:

that's why everyone keeps saying that the tour will need at least a single, if not album

The tour seems very "grassroots."  I don't really know anything about strategy for a tour, but I like what they are doing... Even though it's not typical to do, that doesn't mean it won't work, right?
