Post by: wells on September 01, 2006, 02:43:46 PM
I migth be totally ignorant fool and too lazy to take my old GNR CD's out of carton box, but did Bob Rock ever produce any GNR record? According to the following article he did:

Quote
IT'S A GREAT LESSON for every up-and-coming musician out there to learn: If you're lucky enough to take a summit meeting with a legendary producer like Cult-Metallica-Guns 'N Roses vet Bob Rock, you'd certainly better come prepared.

Just out of curiosity...

bob rock turns most bands into commercial crap.

very rarely does he work out properly.

the cult is an example of him working well.

metallica is an example of him working bad.

I knew a Bob once not sure his last name.  He mixed/mastered the top of the garden off of a Ghetto tape into the final mix. Might be the same guy.
