Post by: 1987 on August 30, 2006, 12:38:51 AM
if this is in the wrong section.. please move it and sorry for the annoyance...
what software are you guys using to "remaster" the gnr boots that have become available.. the sound quality from the when i first heard the HOB 01 01 01 show to what was posted a month or so ago is like night and day.. i'd like to to try to work on some songs myself.. any suggestions would be great..
thanks

I really wish people would stop using the word "remaster".

Unless you're improving a lossless version of an original recording, then you're not "remastering" anything.

is there any free software.. .all i'm looking to do is clean up and sharpen some live tracks to sound like the rhiad... i don't know anything about this.. so for all i know.. it could have taken a ton of work.  i just figured i'd give it a try
